Heavy-Duty Cantilever Racking Built for Building Materials

At the heart of the project was the installation of Emrack’s heavy-duty cantilever racking system.

Designed specifically for the storage of long, bulky and irregular products, the system provides a robust and accessible solution for timber, mouldings, steel, sheet products and other building materials commonly handled within a busy trade environment.

The new layout significantly improved product organisation while allowing staff to replenish and access stock quickly and safely.

By creating clearly defined storage zones and improving forklift accessibility, the new system has helped streamline material handling and reduce congestion throughout the trade area.

Unlocking Vertical Space with a New Mezzanine Level

To further increase storage capacity, Emrack delivered a purpose-built mezzanine structure that capitalises on previously underutilised vertical space.

The mezzanine creates valuable additional storage without expanding the building footprint, providing a practical solution for growing inventory requirements while maintaining efficient workflow below.

Integrated into the overall warehouse layout, the mezzanine allows stock to be stored closer to point-of-use areas, helping improve operational efficiency and reducing unnecessary handling.

Custom Pigeon Hole Storage for Faster Picking & Organisation

Complementing the larger storage systems was the installation of a dedicated pigeon hole storage area.

Purpose-designed to house smaller trade products and accessories, the system enables quick product identification, organised stock allocation and improved picking efficiency.

The result is a cleaner, more structured storage environment that supports faster customer service while reducing time spent locating products.
